What will my first lesson be like?

We will have a small chat about your background in music, any concerns you may have, your goals, and what you expect to gain from voice lessons.
Please note that you do not have to have any background in music to start taking lessons.

VOCAL WARM UP AND LESSON
I will do some warm-ups with you to help free up your voice as well as give important tips and exercises to help start you on your journey to vocal improvement and health.
REPERTOIRE

Your voice is a unique instrument, so I want to treat it as such. So, you will sing a song of your choice so that I can get a better understanding of your singing voice. This will help me to determine which path will be best suited for you.

*PLEASE NOTE: AVAILABILITY FOR IN-PERSON LESSONS ARE BASED ON THE AVAILABILITY OF PRAISE CENTER COMMUNITY CHURCH. IN THE CASE WHERE THE TIME AND DATE THAT YOU REQUEST TO BOOK IS UNAVAILABLE, WE WILL BE SURE TO RESPOND BACK TO YOU WITH THE AVAILABLE SLOTS. VIRTUAL LESSONS ARE NOT AFFECTED.
Cancellation Policy​
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for single lesson purchases, so please let me know at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule to be refunded. Lessons cancelled without 24-hour notice will require full compensation and no refund, but you will still have the option to schedule make up lessons.
However, due to the discount associated with the prepaid lesson packages and the scheduling accommodations involved in planning for them, PACKAGE purchases are NOT refundable.
By scheduling a lesson, you are acknowledging that you accept the cancellation policy. I thank you for your understanding.
